Planting with a Pint | Garden Magick

IMPORTANT: Please click "View more price options" to see the types of containers you may reserve. Each individual ticket will come with a complimentary pint. You can also add on additional containers during the event.

Whether a tenured gardener or just wanting to give it a try, this event will get your Spring gardens off to a great start! Starting seeds indoors before the "last frost" is a great way to prep your own seedlings before you transplant them to their final homes in the Spring.

Registration for this event can be done online or in person at the event. Each registration comes with:

• The seeds you'll choose during the event (a variety of peppers, cucumbers,  tomatos, squashes, herbs, etc)
• The humidity-covered container of choice and the seed starting mix (a seed starter tray for a variety of starts and/or larger cups for single plants that may require more starting room)
• A complimentary pint (or non-alcoholic beverage), courtesy of Hopsquad Brewing Co 

TIPS ON TRANSPLANTING YOUR FUTURE SEEDLINGS:

When transplanting, there are many ways to garden in Austin, TX:

• In-ground gardens: Raised beds or just out in your field, this type of gardening requires space and tillable land.
• Container gardens: Have a large pot/container? Often times, most plants can be grown in containers on your patio or yard. Keep in mind the space you have, sunlight that will be available, and the size of container that the specific plant requires.
• Indoor gardens: Some plants -- depending on their needs -- can be grown indoors with assistance getting light (mostly herbs, in my experience).
